The Tin Lama

There are times when you can stare into eternity and find shadows smiling back. The abyss of another's eyes, the darkness between their lips, the shadows created by a body might tell us plenty about light but they also reveal something allegorical about truth. Notice how the light must arrive in order to reveal. But what if the revelation was missed? What if instead of a tin lama we see a fake lama, an effigy? The shift is then to the original fake. And a false origin is not the most terrible fate to befall an object.

That said, it is not the most pleasant fate either.
